Dispatchers from NMRECC decided to give back to the communities they serve by hosting a food drive just before the Christmas holiday. Dispatchers partnered with Dracut and Tewksbury PD by putting boxes in their lobbies. Dispatchers stated they wanted to give back because they are able to see that some families are hurting during the holiday season. Some dispatchers even said they know “first hand” how hard it is growing up no knowing when your next meal will come.

All in all, the first food drive was a huge success and all items were sorted and distributed to the Dracut and Tewksbury Food Pantries.
